In yet another big setback to Ukraine, NATO said it will not be a party to the Ukraine conflict. The U.S-led bloc said its responsibility is to prevent escalation. This came amid Kyiv urges West allies to shoot down Russian missiles and drones in its airspace. NATO said though members of the bloc has the right to protect their own airspace, they should closely consult with others when doing so can affect NATO as a whole.
